Plans, billing, and trial

How the trial works, plan limits, and how to switch.

Every new firm starts on the Starter plan with a 14-day free trial — no card required. The trial is full-feature within Starter limits (3 projects, 10 members, 25 GB storage).

Adding billing

Open Settings → Billing and pick monthly or annual on Starter or Pro. The button hands off to Razorpay's hosted page for card / UPI / netbanking. Your trial keeps running until the first successful charge clears.

What happens when the trial ends without a card?

The org goes into read-only mode — your data is intact but mutations (raise IPC, issue PO, log DPR) are blocked. Add a payment method anytime to restore writes; the daily cron flips the subscription back to ACTIVE on the next charge.

Failed payments

Razorpay retries the card according to its standard schedule. We email the billing-of-record at first failure and again if the subscription enters PAST_DUE state. Update the card from Settings → Billing → Update payment method — that opens Razorpay's authorize page so the customer can swap card/UPI without us hosting any card form.
